Undergraduate Information
It is important to know that ANY major will work as an undergraduate. However, you MUST complete all the prerequisite coursework for PT school which usually includes classes like Anat & Phys, General Chemistry, Biology, and Physics. This is why many people choose majors that include these classes (killing two birds with one stone). A lot of schools are looking for a someone with a diverse background so choosing a major not in the sciences could be beneficial. Note that while there are basic prerequisites that fulfill most program requirements, some programs require different and/or additional coursework so be sure to research your desired programs for their specific requirements. If the info on their websites is unclear be sure to call each program to get the specific requirements.
If you are just starting your undergrad and you are on this site then that probably means you are preparing well in advance for the future.
