Tips and Advice to take from this section
1. It is not necessary to have a science based major but it is helpful in that you can be completing prerequisites while completing your major.
2. Your GPA is important! Any class with a grade lower than a B- should be retaken, ESPECIALLY a prereq. Look at the GPA breakdown under the GPA tab and try to get your GPA to at least the average range, but preferably competitive.
3. Make sure you plan ahead. Once you are in your junior year you should already have a plan of which prereqs you are going to take during each semester until you graduate. This will ensure that you get them all done by the time you want to apply. In this plan try to give yourself at least a semester to retake classes if needed.
